My Life had been a lonely one
In shadows, I would dwell
Until one day, a ray of sun
Had freed me from my shell
And now I roam the open plains
With nothing left to fear
And every time I call out loud
The wind, it seems to hear
And do I smile, such sweet release
Upon the vast terrain
It is as if the clouds had ceased
To hide the sun's domain
And when at night, the stars above
Would guide me on my way
I am content, for I have love
And no longer decay
To those who would seek to harm me
I'm ready for a fight
With sharpened claws and piercing gaze
I'll vanquish them with might
Though they may live longer than I
I live without regret
For I have found my purpose high
To roam and not forget
